How to apply the starting hands in Texas Holdem Poker?
When you are the beginner you should know how to apply the starting hands based on the position you owe at Texas Holdem Poker table. You should first have the basic knowledge of the groups that are available in the starting hands. One should also have a better understanding of when to use which hands. It is not mandatory that you get the same position on the table each time you start the game. So you should know the exact position and the relevant starting hands that will fetch you luck for the day in playing Texas Holdem Poker games.
When you are at the later position on the poker table with the dealer in the latest position and small blind at the earliest on the table then you have the complete chance of playing with more starting hands that are basically classified under 9 groups. These groups of Texas Holdem Poker game are named as Group 1 to 8 and 30 skipping the sequence at number 9. In case if you occupy the Dealer Button having the full table then the best strategy is to play the groups from 1 to 6. If you have the chance of occupying middle position then you should play with groups from 1 to 3 with 4 as last priority. When you are in early position you should rely on group 1 for tight play and 1 and 2 for loose effect in Texas Holdem Poker game.
When the numbers start dropping with each step and reach to the count of 5 to 7 active players then you should become alert in using groups of starting hands for better output. You should rather prefer tightening up the overall game plan by playing with the premium hands that have the better positions like those from the groups 1 and 2. This stage of Texas Holdem Poker is to be played with care as you might be carried away with chasing flush and concentrate on Straight draws which might put you at possible risk and result in wasting your chips.
Once the players further reduce to 4 you should be able to open up in the game and start playing with far more hands that are available in Texas Holdem poker groups numbering 1 thru 5. This is the stage where money would come into picture and hence is the necessity for an individual to pay more attention. You should try to protect your blinds and also steal occasionally and then direct towards knocking out the small stacks that are on the table. It is like you should shift your role from protecting your own stack to targeting at the opposite stacks.
When the members still drop down this is the stage at which you should pay more attention in selecting the groups which you should play on
Texas Hold‘em
Poker table. The more you tighten the more critical the games becomes step by step. Thus having the knowledge of groups and then knowing the strategies of applying these groups will definitely help you win the game in no time.
